DH used vinyl flooring adhesive to put down the Peel N Stick in our kitchen and two halls. It worked fine. We don't have glue seeping out but that's because DH KNEW if he used too much, that would happen. Sorry about your mess! Find out what removes this stuff and get to work. I think you just need to remove the glue that is on top of the floor.
